Equipment: NBN Interim Satellite

IPSTAR NBN services connect superfast broadband to your computer. All you need for a service is NBN satellite equipment and your computer (PC, Mac or laptop).

NBN satellite equipments:
When your order has been placed, IPSTAR will organise a registered installer to install satellite equipment supplied by NBN Co at your premises.

- Satellite Dish: typically 1.2m sized dish will be mounted on a roof or if necessary via pole mount on the ground.
- Outdoor Units: these are electronic devices for transmitting and receiving satellite signals.
- Satellite Modem: a compact-Sized modem is used for communicating between your computer and satellite.
- Cable Connections: there are 2 cables connecting between Outdoor Units and Satellite Modem.

Your Computer:
Any modern computers (PC, Mac or laptop) that have an ethernet port are fully compatible with IPSTAR NBN services. However, we suggest your computer to have current operating systems (Windows, OS or Linux). We also recommend the computer to have up-to-date anti-virus to ensure it is free of Spam or Malware.
