How does the service work?
It's as easy as picking up the receiver a standard telephone, listen for the dial tone and then dial the phone number of your choice, just like you do today. Incoming calls are handled no differently than it is today with your existing phone service.

Calls are routed over the Internet and then passed off to the closest public telephone point to the number you are calling. Once your setup has been completed, you make and receive calls the same way you always have.
